It showed Staphylococcus aureus was the most susceptible while Bacillus cereus was the least susceptible to the extracts with methanol extract being more effective against the clinical bacterial isolates. The extracts inhibited the growth of the bacterial isolates in a concentration dependant manner. The antifungal activity of the extracts on radial mycelical growth of the test fungi showed that Aspergillus niger was the most susceptible while Rhizopus spp was the least susceptible.
