It focuses on the Greek countryside, attempting a short diachronic mapping of development laws. With a simple example, this article encourages unemployed young people of the Greek cities to move to the countryside, and provided that they are given proper education and training, to work on agricultural cultivation and focus on Agrotourism, with the aim to increase their low income. The basic source of knowledge is derived from personal experiences, but has also been based on Greek and international literature. Keywords: tourism, agrotourism, Greek economic crisis, investment laws, education of the local people.
