Abstract
The paper seeks to investigate the nature and features of agricultural book publishing in Nigeria, using National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM) Library-Collections as a case study. The research examines a book publishing features such as collaborations, positions of authors, gender, etc. More importantly, this research tends to study the history of book publishing in Nigeria as it translates to Nigerian library’s collection. The research specifically considered what percentage of research library collections are published in the country, and also authored by Nigerians.
